As the moderator of the site, I get a lot of e-mails from people claiming to know or have once been in contact with Donna. Many of these people include pictures or details of their interaction with Donna, and for the most part, are not necessarily hard to believe. However, about a year ago, I was contacted by a person claiming to be a close relative of Donna's. I initially brushed it off and didn't bother responding right away. But one day, as I was going through some of my old e-mails, I re-read his message and decided to write back.

I'm so glad I did! Out of respect to both him and Donna, I am not going to say how he is related to her, but over the course of our correspondence, I became convinced that he was "for real". Long story short, I was told that Donna had seen the site and was very flattered by it. Her relative told her to contact me and a few short weeks later, in February of 2008, she did! Below are scanned pictures of the card we received:

"Christine and Shannon, I just wanted to let you know how much I admire all the work you've done on the website. I am so flattered that you two would do this. I hope to return to acting in the next few years after my daughter graduates from High School. I hope one day we will be able to meet and have coffee. I have family upstate New York and will be visiting them end of this year. Thanks for everything. God Bless, Donna Wilkes"
